Studio Intern
Overview:
Dauphinette is seeking Studio Interns to support the Dauphinette Team for the Spring 2025 semester.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous fashion internship experience is a plus
- A genuinely self-motivated, solutions-oriented thinker who works well in a dynamic environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, ability to adapt communication style easily to understand a range of needs
- Detail-oriented, organized, values punctuality
- Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure
- An open, friendly, collaborative working style
- A strong, genuine desire to develop and grow the Dauphinette brand.
- Experienced in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Design/sewing experience is a big plus.
- Adobe suite knowledge is a big plus
- New York-based only, and able to commute to between our studio in Dumbo, Brooklyn and the garment district. We are not seeking remote candidates at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Studio organization: Maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.
- Garment district errands: Assist with sourcing materials and other errands.
- Packaging orders: Ensure orders are beautifully and accurately packed.
- Press outreach: Research and identify potential media outlets and opportunities for press coverage, and assist in handling sample requests.
- Event assistance: Support the team during events, ensuring seamless execution.
- Additional support: Provide general assistance to the team daily.
- Learning and development: Absorb knowledge from industry professionals, gain insights into brand operations, and actively seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.

This is a part-time unpaid internship that requires a minimum commitment of 2 days for a 12 week period and can be completed for school credit.
