Overview:
Dauphinette is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Creative Officer & Founder (CCO) in daily studio and retail operations.
The Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive support with everything from daily operations to special projects and fashion week.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year prior experience in an operations or executive assistant role
- Fashion industry experience preferred but not necessary
- Genuinely self-motivated, highly independent worker who works well collaboratively but equally well alone
- Extremely organized
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent listener, adapts communication style easily to understand a range of needs
- Detail-oriented, very punctual, and efficient— excellent at balancing thoroughness with urgency
- Works quickly and effectively under pressure
- An open, friendly, humble, collaborative working style
- Working knowledge of Shopify, Microsoft / Google Suites, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
- A strong, genuine desire to develop and grow the Dauphinette brand.
- Sewing experience is a big plus.
- Mandarin, French, and/or Spanish laungage skills are a big plus.
- Ability to lift 25lbs+
- New York-based only, and able to commute within Manhattan and Brooklyn. We are not seeking remote candidates at this time.
Responsibilities:
- You will report directly to the Founder—
- Packaging DTC and wholesale orders, invoicing, arranging shipments, receiving and processing returns
- Answering customer service emails and website chat inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain and take initiative around studio organization
- Working with retail lead and CCO to ensure that store operations run smoothly and that the store is consistently staffed, organized, and operating at peak performance
- Liaising with all local manufacturing partners, maintaining a timely production calendar
- Creating and developing daily schedule for yourself and interns
- Supporting CCO with hiring and maintaining internship program, and training and overseeing interns
- Supporting with special projects when needed
- Flexing into a PA role when needed, helping with errands and administrative tasks
- Part-time opportunity (3 days/week minimum, possibility for full-time as well)
- Pre-allocate for increased flexibility/hours during fashion months (September, February) and occasional weekend availability.

Compensation
- The compensation range for this position is $24-27/hour depending on your relevant experience.
